Data We Collect and Store

PinBid collects and stores the following information:

• Discord IDs (server, channel, and user)
• Display names from Discord
• Bid text, links, and image URLs
• Stripe identifiers (checkout session IDs, payment intent IDs, and connected account IDs)
• The contact email address a server owner gives when connecting Stripe, and the country they select
• An activity log of actions taken in a server — setup, connecting Stripe, approvals and rejections, reports, and payout releases — recorded with the Discord ID of whoever took the action

We never store card numbers or payment card details. Stripe handles all card processing and storage according to their security standards.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Run the daily auction
• Process payments and payouts via Stripe
• Display winning bids (promotion and pinning)
• Provide you with service and support
• Detect and prevent fraud, card testing and abuse, and review payouts before release

Data Retention

PinBid retains bid data and Stripe identifiers for the duration of your use of the service and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal obligations and dispute resolution needs.

Hosting and Data Location

PinBid's infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare. We prioritize EU data residency where possible in compliance with privacy regulations.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is shared only with Stripe for payment processing and with Cloudflare for hosting services, each under strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Object to processing of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data
